Chicago’s (NEW) Champion of Fish & Chips – The Wolcott Tap

With Lent upon us, so begins the Friday tradition in Chicago of BiteSeeing through various Fish Fry’s, All-You-Can-Eat platters, and “The Best” fish & chips in the city.

Well, folks, there is a new contender in town – The Wolcott Tap (1834 W Montrose Ave, Chicago, IL 60613). The Wolcott Tap has been a go-to favorite of ours since the second time we walked in the door (long story about visit #1) and during our last visit on March 1, 2019, we discovered a “secret” item that hasn’t made its way to the menu (yet!) – Fish & Chips.

In the spirit of BiteSeeing, we simply had to try them, and they were da BOMB! The batter to fish ratio is p-e-r-f-e-c-t !

Don’t worry, I’ll post a better picture after I go back this Friday, but treat yourself and go check it out!
