About

Created in June 2007 the idea of BITESEEING.COM was a simple hobby platform to record notes from the various restaurants and eateries I visited. I wanted a way to share my experiences and opinions in an honest, straightforward, and uncensored way – which is exactly the way I approach most things in life.

The three areas of focus for the site have evolved into what I feel is a balanced offering of my own experiences that I hope you will find useful in your own adventures and pursuits:

My take on places I've been to
Recipes and cooking techniques
Features and usage guides for the tools of the trade

By trade, I am a Management Consultant focused on Business Strategy and Information Technology alignment, so my understanding of how businesses work coupled with my passion to better understand the customer-centric balance of the culinary world has helped shape and evolve the content presented here.

Along the way, I’ve attended various culinary schools and programs to learn how to be a better chef so my experiments, lessons learned, techniques, and resulting recipes have been added to this passion project of mine.

I’ve also developed an intuitive and comprehensive way to evaluate restaurants in an unbiased way, taking most emotions and bias out of the resulting review in order to both standardize and normalize reviews presented here – mumbo-jumbo aside, this means that you get an objective rundown that should generally hold true for your own experience.

Lastly, and arguably the most exciting element I’ve added since starting in 2007 is a look at the appliances, gadgets, tools, and other devices that help deliver the perfect meal to your plate.

I hope you enjoy taking this trip with me as I BiteSee my way through life. Feedback is always welcome, together we can create more meaningful experiences and memories!
