In a large bowl (preferably one with a cover) pour in Heavy Whipping Cream, Milk, Vanilla Extract, and Salt
Slowly whisk in Sugars and Cocoa Powder to combine/dissolve. Once you have added all of the ingredients, whisk for another minute
Chill mixture in the refrigerator until ready to spin in your ice cream maker. (We've learned that chilling for 48 hours seems to work best in the ice cream machine we use)
Pour chilled mixture into ice cream machine/bowl and spin for a total of about 25 minutes minutes, adding any candy, cookies, or other delights at the 20-minute mark
When time is up or your ice cream looks like its good to go, immediately stop the ice cream maker and transfer the frozen goods to freezer-safe containers (ideally with a lid, or you can cover with heavy-duty aluminum foil). Eat or freeze ๐ค ๐ฆ ๐จ ๐ค
